Researching universities can be tough, especially as opportunities to visit them have been limited. The 'right choice' criteria can range from the reputation for a particular subject, to industry connections and the location of the University itself. You will also be looking for something special – an experience that adds genuine value beyond the rudiments of a degree course.
There's nothing like seeing something for yourself, especially with a life-changing decision like going to university. With so many factors affecting your choice, visiting in person could completely change your mind.
At Nottingham Trent University (NTU), you’ll get a student experience that’s hard to match – quality courses and facilities, a buzzing student community and a worldwide network of employers.
Our courses are developed with careers in mind – not just degrees – we encourage you to find what you love and follow it into a great future. With over 200 undergraduate courses to choose from, you’ll find a course to suit your interests.
Come and see for yourself
Visiting us is the perfect way to see what makes life and learning at NTU so special. We have a number of campuses across Nottingham and the surrounding areas and our booking form will help you to find the correct open day based on the course and subject area you’re interested in. We can't wait to meet you. Book your place now.
If you're starting at NTU in September 2024 and want to explore your future campus, book a campus tour on selected Fridays in June and July to check out the buildings and spaces you'll be using.
Alternatively, you can take a virtual tour and explore NTU from the comfort of your home, and you can chat to current students and staff online to hear about life at NTU from the people who know it best.
Whether you’re travelling by car, coach, rail, or tram, we’re offering discounted travel offers to all NTU undergraduate open day visitors. Find out more.
Clearing AT NTU
Clearing is your chance to apply for an undergraduate course after you've received your exam results, or if you haven't already applied through UCAS. Clearing 2024 opens on Friday 5 July, but you may be able to apply now.
If you’re waiting on your results, you can sign up to NTU priority for pre-results day offers, skip-the-queue access to Clearing advisers on results day, exclusive updates, alerts and dedicated Clearing support. For more information, visit NTU's Clearing page.
Campus and facilities
We’ve got campuses across Nottinghamshire and a site in London, each uniquely developed to the needs of our student community.
With over £450 million invested in our tools, technology and facilities over the past 15 years —you’ll be building up your skills and workplace confidence by using the same equipment and spaces as the pros.
Life outside of lectures
From gaming to knitting, cartooning to creative writing, DJing to singing and archery to football, you’ll be spoilt for choice here with over 100 societies and clubs.
Boost your professional prospects
With 75% of students in graduate-level employment or further graduate-level study within 15 months of leaving NTU (The Guardian University Guide 2021) and a top five ranking for the number of year-long placements on offer (HESA 2021/22), NTU is one of the UK’s most employment-focused universities. 100% of NTU courses provide work-related experience within the curriculum.
