Out of over 120 UK Universities, Lancaster is placed 10th by the Complete University Guide 2024, 14th by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024, and 11th by The Guardian University Guide 2024. At Lancaster, we strongly believe that funding concerns should not stop any student with the talent to thrive and so we offer a range of scholarships and bursaries.

Every Lancaster student receives careers support from day one to graduation and beyond. We will prepare you for the future you want by: helping you secure valuable work experience during your studies; giving advice and guidance throughout the job application process; providing opportunities to meet top graduate employers at careers fairs, and much more.

Lancaster is one of only a handful of UK universities to have a collegiate system. We have nine colleges in total, and every student (and staff member) belongs to a college. Your college is where your first friendships are formed, it is your university family. Your college is the first place to go for any support with staff on duty around the clock, ready to help.
